Anna Watson, LICSW – Staff Therapist


Anna completed her master’s in social work at the University of Washington and internship at the Harborview Center for Sexual Assault and Traumatic Stress where she received specialized training in providing trauma treatment to survivors of physical and sexual abuse.  She spent the next three years as the Mental Health Therapist at the Pierce County Child Advocacy Center where she specialized in treating children ages 3 to 18 who had been sexually abused. Anna has 10 years experience working with adolescents and families in both community mental health and forensic settings.

Anna has trained extensively in working with a broad range of anxiety and disruptive behavioral disorders and she brings a wealth of compassion to working with children, adults and families with a variety of issues. Anna particularly enjoys helping people to recover from traumatic experiences as well as the special challenges and delights of working with pre-school aged children and their families on the issues common to early childhood such as anxiety disorders, non-compliance and elimination disorders.
