Neil
M. Kirkpatrick, Ph.D. – Clinical Director
Dr.
Kirkpatrick completed his Ph.D. in clinical psychology at the University of
Vermont, internship at the Morrison Center for Children and Families in Oregon,
and a two-year post-doctoral fellowship at the Evidence Based Treatment Centers
of Seattle (EBTCS) where he focused on DBT and exposure therapies with children
and adults with anxiety disorders. Dr. Kirkpatrick has 21 years experience
working with individuals and families in outpatient, inpatient, forensic, and
community mental health settings. Dr. Kirkpatrick serves as the clinical
director and a therapist at BTCT, staff psychologist at EBTCS, clinical
faculty at the University of Washington, consultant to the CARE Clinic at the
University of Washington’s Experimental Education Unit, and co-clinical
director of Take Root, an international organization of formerly abducted
children. Dr. Kirkpatrick also enjoys presenting workshops and trainings in
delivering evidence based treatments to a variety of clinical populations.
